The miscreants had uprooted the ATM of the State Bank of India branch at a distance of half a kilometer from Kagaraul police station in Agra. Before this, the miscreants also broke the CCTV cameras. The police is busy searching for the miscreants. This morning the ATM machine was found in a big canal near village Sikaroda. Police reached the spot after getting information and started investigation.
The incident occurred at 2:32 pm on January 7 in Kagaraul. Ramnivas Rawat has a two-storey house near the bus stand on Agra-Jagner road. Here, Ramniwas runs a cement agency on the ground floor. SBI branch and ATM are located on the ground floor itself. At night, when he heard the sound of a car and shutters being raised, he came downstairs with his grandson. Nothing could be seen clearly due to dense fog. The shutter appeared to be half open. The miscreants were standing on a vehicle in front. They threatened to shoot and asked them to go inside. After this the miscreants also removed the CCTV wires of the bank.
Ramnivas hid inside the house in fear. He informed about the miscreants robbing the ATM. When the police reached the spot, they found that the ATM machine was missing. Since then the police is busy searching for the miscreants. This morning, an ATM machine was found lying in a big canal near village Sikaroda in Fatehpur Sikri area. As soon as the information was received, Kagaraul Police, Fatehpur Sikri Police and SOG team reached the spot. Police have seized the ATM machine. Police officials are still avoiding telling anything.
